Dutch Beschuit Breakfast
A different take on Dutch rusk for breakfast.

While beschuit with hagel is a popular breakfast in The Netherlands, here is another way to enjoy them that is also really, really good.
Ingredients:
- 2 bescuits
- 1 teaspoon of your favourite sweetener
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
Directions:
- Heat the milk, but do not boil.
- Place one of the beschuit in a bowl.
- Sprinkle with half of the sweetener and cinnamon.
- Top with the other beschuit and sprinkle the rest of the sweetener.
- Pour the warm milk on the rusks, allowing the beschuit to soften a bit and enjoy!
Try adding fruit for some extra sweetness.
