Dutch Butter Cookies

This recipe for simple Dutch butter cookies is an old favourite. Perfect for pairing with your favourite coffee or tea!
Ingredients
- 2 cups butter
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 ¼ cups white sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter to soften. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
- Drop by rounded spoonful’s onto the cookies sheet and press down slightly. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before moving the cookies to a wire rack.
