Dutch Butter Cookies

This recipe for simple Dutch butter cookies is an old favourite. Perfect for pairing with your favourite coffee or tea!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups white sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the butter to soften. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
  3. Drop by rounded spoonful’s onto the cookies sheet and press down slightly. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before moving the cookies to a wire rack.
