Directions

ADD:

  • 175g butter, room temperature
  • 4 medium eggs, room temperature
  • 1 large apple
  • 30cm cake pan, preferably spring form

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 325° (F). Place rack in middle position.
  2. Grease the cake pan with butter, dusting with flour, or use cooking spray.
  3. Peel the apple, remove the core, and slice into small pieces (1/2-1 cm).
  4. Beat the butter until soft and creamy.
  5. Add the cake mix and the eggs, one at a time.
  6. Beat at lowest speed for 1 minute.
  7. Beat at highest speed for 2-3 minutes, until better is light and airy.
  8. Add the apple pieces and the cinnamon sugar to the batter and mix well with a spoon.
  9. Place batter in pan, and bake 60-75 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool for 3-4 minutes before removing from pan. 
  11. Allow to cool completely.

TIPS:

You can also make cupcakes. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
