Coffee cake with stroopwafle pieces. Comes with it's own baking pan.
Add:
- 75g syrup
- 170g butter or margarine, room temperature
- 3 eggs
- 50ml water
- 3 stroopwafels, cut in small pieces
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°.
- Bend the cake pan.
- Melt 50g butter in a small pan on low heat. Remove from heat and add the syrup, 25ml water and the saucemix, Stir until smooth and without lumps.
- Beat 120g butter until soft and creamy.
- Add cake mix, eggs and 25ml water and beat for 2 minutes.
- Spread half the batter in the baking pan.
- Spread the syrup sauce over the batter, keeping the edges free. and keeping 3-4 tablespoon sauce aside.
- Pour the rest of the batter on top. It is fine if it gets mixed together a bit.
- Sprinkle the stroopwafel pieces on top of the batter.
- Carefully place in oven and bake for 60 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with remaining syrup mixture.
- Use a knife to loosen cake from pan.
