Stroopwafel Cake

Love stroopwafels? Now you can make cake with them. Enjoy!

ADD:

  • 1 Package Koopmans Stroopwafelcake
  • 200g butter or margarine
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 4 stroopwafels
  • 30cm cake pan, preferably spring form

DIRECTIONS:

  • Pre-heat oven to 325° (F). Place rack in middle position.
  • Grease the cake pan with butter, dusting with flour, or use cooking spray.
  • Beat the butter until soft and creamy.
  • Add the cake mix and eggs, 1 at a time.
  • Beat on lowest speed for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Beat on highest speed for 2 minutes, until better is light and airy.
  • Pour batter in pan.
  • Cut the stroopwafels in small pieces, roughly 1 cm. Spread over batter.
  • Bake for 60-70 minutes, until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.

Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Allow to cool completely
