Canada Post Strike May, 2025

A new strike action by the workers of Canada Post appears likely to begin Friday, May 23rd.

The Dutch Shop is committed to continue providing fast and effective shipping with alternative carriers. We always offer the option to ship via GLS or Canpar, and will continue to offer free shipping on orders over $125 in Canada.

You can see your shipping options at checkout before you buy. If you have a carrier preference or any questions, please let us know.

Please Note: Only Canada Post can ship to PO boxes. Please use an alternate address as orders to PO boxes will not be delivered until the strike has ended.

Rural addresses where Canada Post provides the "last mile" delivery will be unable to receive shipments until the strike is over.

Any shipments that were sent via Canada Post but not delivered prior to the strike will be held until the strike has ended. If your order is held and products inside are no longer usable when it arrives, please contact us. We will not be offering general refunds for any undelivered orders until after the strike has ended, but will refund or replace products after the order has arrived if needed.
